Elise Christou

Elise is a law graduate from Western Australia with particular interests in human rights and international relations. Although she has completed her Bachelor of Laws with Distinction and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) with First Class Honours, she is eager to develop her passion for research by completing further studies by way of a PhD with a deeper focus on the role of human rights in the current policy landscape.

The main focus of Elise's professional career has always been the interrelationship between human rights and wellbeing, and their interactions with social, political and legal realities. 

Elise has a passionate dedication for social impact. Elise's goal for Educate a Mate is to support greater access to global education to implement education as a long-term and sustainable key to the eradication of poverty. She established Educate a Mate in order to contribute to the global movement for equal opportunity.
